uTorrent has
recently introduced sponsored ads from version 3 of its torrent
applications.Not everyone was pleased with this decision. What many people
don’t realize is that these ads are optional and can be disabled in the
preferences or remove ads from uTorrent, so just follow these few steps and you
will be able to enjoy the latest version of uTorrent, without those ads! This
method will also work for utorrent users and the best part is you don’t need
any additional software to do this. That’s right, we can disable (remove ads utorrent) it from within the app.
Before we start, let
me show you an example of one such advertisement.
Steps to Remove Ads
from uTorrent
Firstly launch the
uTorrent client on your machine. Then follow the steps below:
- First, open uTorrent (or
BitTorrent) and Click on Options>Preferences
- Now Click on Advanced in the left panel.
In the search bar
found in the right panel of the advanced tab, start typing the following text
to use the settings for it.

Then double-click on the text in the right panel to change the value to false. You could also set the radio button to false and click OK. Now repeat the above steps and change the value to false, for the settings below:
